Electric Trams. The main line of the electric tram begins at the Penang Gate in the lower town and, passing along the Jacatra Road enters Weltevreden, proceeding along Kampoeng Lima and Tanah Abang (street) and terminating at the Harmonie Club. There are two branch lines a one from the end of Rijswijkstreet past Konings-plefn N. and E. to Menteng, where it joins the second branch line; the other line starting from Koningsplein and passing Waterlooplein and Vrymetselaarsweg, joining the main line at Goenoeng Sari; cars run every 10 minutes.
