13th day FROM GAROET TO WONOSOBO.
There is no restaurant car between Maos and Wonosobo, so either take lunch in train before coming to Maos or take some cold lunch along.
14th day FROM WONOSOBO TO THE DIENG PLATEAU.
One can go as far as Garoeng by carriage or motor (five miles) the remainder of the trip to the Plateau must be done either on horseback or by sedan chair. These conveyances are always to be had

at Garoeng but when with a large party it is advisable to ask for assistance to the Wedana (native chief of the district). Everything will then be ready when arriving at Garoeng.
From Garoeng the road generally taken leads via the Lake of Mendjer and the tea estate Tambi to Kedjadjar. Coming back the road from Kedjadjar direct to Garoeng is taken.
On the plateau stay overnight in the resthouse. For this permission must be asked to the Assistant-Resident at Wonosobo which is best done in advance by letter.
15th day At the Dieng Plateau. Excursions and walks to Toog Bimo, the Ardjoeno temples, the excavations, Hindu stairs etc.
16th day FROM THE DIENG PLATEAU BACK TO WONOSOBO.
